Brand Overview & Objective
COMET is a D2C sneaker brand launched in 2023 with a focus on authentic streetwear aesthetics.
The brand revolves around artist collaborations, exclusive drops, and a marketplace for preloved sneakers.
The goal was to craft a visually compelling website that highlights product uniqueness, craftsmanship, and community while delivering a seamless user experience.
Research & Insights
User Surveys: We conducted comprehensive surveys to understand the target audience's needs and pain points. Questions focused on navigation challenges, purchase behavior, and their connection to sneaker culture.
Competitor Analysis: We examined direct competitors to uncover insights on design trends, functionality gaps, and how best to position COMET's unique value proposition.
Key Insights: Users prioritized easy navigation, a fast checkout process, and engaging visuals. They desired a sense of exclusivity when interacting with the brand and valued artist-driven collaborations.
Design Philosophy
Street Meets Space: We chose to mix urban street aesthetics with futuristic, spaceship-inspired visuals, creating a dynamic yet relatable identity.
Vibrant and Bold: A bold and vibrant color palette was selected to enhance visual engagement. Contrasting CTAs, playful layouts, and expressive typography were used to maintain user interest and evoke exclusivity.
Craftsmanship in Focus: Product pages emphasize sneaker uniqueness with detailed images and descriptions, conveying the craftsmanship behind each release.
